Clients are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of any third-party content (e.g., logos, music, branding assets) they provide to LOCTEN Media.
All materials created by LOCTEN Media—including videos, photographs, designs, and brand content—are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution of any deliverables is strictly prohibited without written permission. Upon final payment, clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use final deliverables as intended for their project. LOCTEN Media retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio or promotional channels unless confidentiality is requested in writing.
LOCTEN Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our services or content. This includes losses due to delays, third-party platforms, or improper use of creative assets. 3. Client Content & Responsibility
If you provide us with any content (e.g., branding materials, music, or client footage), you confirm that you have the legal right to use such materials and grant LOCTEN Media permission to use them in your project. We are not liable for copyright violations or legal disputes stemming from content provided by the client.
4. Payment Terms
All services must be paid for as per the terms outlined in your agreement or invoice. Late payments may be subject to additional fees. LOCTEN Media reserves the right to withhold final deliverables until payment is received in full.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Project cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds, if any, will be determined based on the amount of work already completed. Deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your agreement.
6. Limitation of Liability
LOCTEN Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Client Contract
LOCTEN Media provides creative services based on client direction and project scope. While we maintain high standards, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness or performance of the content outside the agreed deliverables. All project materials are protected under copyright and may not be reused or distributed without written permission. LOCTEN Media is not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to project usage. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge responsibility for any third-party content you provide.
